Why Flipping The Web?
Hi I’m Nobody Buddy founder and publisher of Flipping the Web. This site is aimed at those who are inhabited by the spirit of entrepreneurship; those who are filled with dreams of making a living online; those who want to be from a nightmare who forces them outside their home every day from 9 to 5.
Flipping the Web is for those who are tired to be misguided by dreams of striking it rich online and blind optimism to be the next Online Business Tycoon. I’m not some sort of internet guru or mogul or anything like that. I’m just a 29 old man trying to generate a full time income starting from scratch using Internet.
This blog is dedicated to documenting every step of my journey in order to be as transparent as possible so anyone can duplicate my success or perhaps avoid my failure by learning from my mistakes.
How I end-up using Nobody as my blogger name?
I can’t disclose my real name for the simple reason I’m trying to avoid any legal hassle with my current employer, let’s call it Big Company Inc, All I can do for the moment is that my name is Hichem, but please call me Nobody.
A few months ago when I had the idea of launching Flipping The Web I was about to use my real name for writing, but the little voice in my head told me to go and check my Employment Agreement.
I was astonished how I missed that detail, the agreement stipulate that I cannot do any work outside my current job either it’s personal or for a third person, and any software I create while I’m employed is their property, even if I do it off-hours and off-premises.
The cherry on the pie is that any revenue I receive will end-up getting turned over to Big Company Inc.
Whether if my employer is right or not. I don’t want to find myself in a disagreement. So this is how I end up hiding my real identity.
