Nobody is back

Hi Everyone,

It had been a long time since my last post here, last time I was talking about my experience during the thirty day challenge and I must admitted, I was unprepared for what happened  to me (details will follow on an upcoming post)

For the moment for all what I can say, I had been busy between my day work, the Internet marketing work, and most important my wedding preparation (for those who don’t know I’m being married on next July), and it’s very difficult to keep with all tasks.

Anyway things are moving on quickly, and I’m finally back, so lets the journey continue.

My progress on the Thirty day Challenge

Make Money Online, The Journey No Comments »

On my last post I did a promise to post about my progress on the Thirty day challenge more frequently, and I didn’t respect this promises, shame on me. Daily tasks at the 30DC are tacking so much of my free time, knowing that my day job doesn’t leave with a bunch of free time.

Anyway I’m happy to announce that I earned my first dollars online, today I got my first sale from one of my money making project on the 30DC, I earned 15$.

Ed dale was right when he was explaining us the power and the majesty of the Internet Business on his first day lesson :  A Magnificent Symphony Of Four Parts…

The Thirty Day Challenge can be resumed in four stages :

  • Stage 1: Market Research and Keyword Analysis
  • Stage 2: Prepare an Host Optimized Content on Authority Site
  • Stage 3: Get the Hosted Content Indexed by the Search Engine
  • Stage 4: Build Links to Attain and Maintain Search Engine Ranking

I’m still at the beginning of my Journey and for the moment I’m so overwhelmed by this little earning, I know that I need to calm down and focus on my future steps to ensure that I can repeat this earning.

During the challenge I had many ideas and one of them was to write down my feelings and my thinking day by day, now that I’m approaching the end of the challenge I’m thinking to release my diary on an e-book instead of posting on this blog.

So if you want to know when I’ll release this e-book, subscribe to my rss feed

Where is Nobody Buddy ?

Before beginning the New Year, I have setup to myself some objectives regarding my online activities, one of them was (and still) to post more frequently on this blog. It’s quite long since my last post about the Thirty Day Challenge, and it’s clear that I’m falling behind my objective of posting frequently, but readers I started the Thirty Day Challenge and what I’m learning there is fantastic and overwhelming that I can’t believe that the information there is free, I’m like a thirsty man after days on the desert :-)

My day job tasks and doing the lessons on the 30DC had kept me from posting here , but stay tuned you will be hearing from Nobody Buddy soon :-) I’ll do some posting about my progress on the challenge during the weekend.

So subscribe to my feed and enjoy the reading…

Long live to the Thirty Day Challenge!

While planning and foresight are crucial ingredients in the recipe of success for any online business, there comes a point where action is necessary to make those plans real.

If I had planned correctly my moves on 2007, I should have been starting my online business 4 months ago on September.

On august 2007 I came across Thirty Day Challenge, I had never heard of it until I read it about it on a forum post asking readers what will be their tools during the challenge.

Basically the 30DC is a month long course for Internet Marketing Dummies looking to make their first bucks online. The courses taught techniques that allowed a newbie to find a market, create content in that niche, get that content ranked in Google and test the market all in the space of a few days.

The Thirty Day Challenge is the best online experiences that I have ever had. The goal of the challenge was to make $10 online within 30 days. While not everyone won the challenge, many did and everyone learned a ton of stuff.

I didn’t win the challenge, because I was a passive reader and I never tried any of the techniques taught during the challenge and honestly my day job and my poor time management skills prevented me from practicing what I learned

But seeing other succeeding is overwhelming.

The good news is that the Challenge is still open to participant who wants to catch up

There are a lot of people who started on January 1st; I know that I’m 3 day behind the schedule knowing that also I have all the preseason materials to review again before starting; seems that I have a little challenge within the challenge J.

Stay tuned on Flipping The Web to see if Nobody will manage to earn a penny online J

Happy New Goals 2008 !!!

Blogging, Personal No Comments »

Here we are at the beginning of the New Year; it’s time for introspection and looking back at my accomplishments over the past year. Traditionally people choose to make their resolutions at the end of the year, but most people will give up on their resolutions by January 5th even the 2nd and by January 30th they may not even remember what their resolution was.

I’ll post later this month about the results of my introspection; normally I should post about my goals and resolutions for 2008 but I don’t want to make goals on hurry and never visit them again until next new year, this will not going to be a great help for the business I’m intending to build. I want to visit my goals frequently and note my progress toward reaching them, so I’ll be mo likely to raise my journey to the next level.

So my first goal for 2008 is to have a master plan that will guide me and keeps me focused on my objectives.

Happy New Year !!!

Who are your Heroes ?

Before going into details about my journey, I felt I need to explain to my reader and future readers, who are the people behind my determination to start an online business.

During the last months I identified a panel of professional bloggers and web entrepreneurs who I admire for the way they have built their business. Every time I read their post I feel enthusiastic and excited, ideas start popping around. I’m strong believer in the power of their mentorship even if I never spoke to them directly (I hope so in the future).

I felt the need to start a series to introduce these mentors by writing a bit about who they are, their projects and how they inspired me to take the plunge.

The series will be entitled “Who are my Heroes” and I’ll cover how reading their articles brings to me an incredible value to my life.

In case you don’t already know them, stay tuned on “Who are my Heroes” series.

Time to step out on my own and start my journey

Back on 2004 I was working for a small company since 2001 as a webmaster developing and designing websites for their client. I was a young fellow of 25, my ambition was to make a million by the time I was thirty. My dream was to go on my own and start my own business, selling web development services.

What happen to me is like 1% of the population in the world I failed to achieve my greatest life Goals and the most common explanation why I failed is that I simply didn’t tried.

On the same year I moved for my job working as webmaster to a new position within a big company in the telecomunications industry.  I taught it will be possible for me to build a business while I still at my day job, I was determined to succeed but at the end I simply found all my time spent on my day job.

That particular year is important to me, it’s the year I met my wife, it’s the year I got a new job, it’s the year I decided that I want to own my business, and also the year I did nothing to change my situation even if I was able to do it.

And now 3 year and half later, I really decided that I need to do something. I have stopped having fun and enjoying my job. My stress level is so high at work that it is affecting my physical and sometimes my mental health and my relationships with my friends and family.

My work for that company brings them millions of dollars in revenue. If I can do it for them I can do it for me.

My name is Nobody Buddy, and this my first post on this blog. I welcome you to my journey into Internet Marketing and Online Business. If you are wondering why my name is Nobody please read the about page.
